Construction
- Formed 14 gauge steel.
- Fully welded frame with 25mm hole pattern for superior mounting flexibility.
- Foam gasket on all openings provides a dust-tight seal.
- Reinforced eyebolts are provided for easy enclosure lifting.
- Frames can be joined together with an optional joining kit.
- Doors can be easily interchanged, removed and/or reversed.
- Door opening 135°.
- Optional formed 14 gauge steel side panels are sold separately (in pairs).
- Bonding and grounding studs are provided for all doors and panels.
Finish
- Phosphatized and finished in RAL 7035 light gray powder coating.

When you prefer complete flexibility, our modular C2 series allows you to select every feature. We can ship the components to you for assembly*, we can assemble the cabinet for you or you can choose from some of our popular pre-assembled cabinets, here.
Available Options Include
- 20U, 24U, 28U, 32U, 36U, 40U, 45U, and 49U mounting heights.
- 23″ overall frame widths.
- 23.62″, 31.5″ and 36″ overall frame depths.
- All frames include four (4) levelling feet and support optional casters.
- Mounting rails are sold separately and are available with square-hole punched or drilled and tapped 10-32.
- Flush-mounted doors with quarter-turn lock available in solid, louvre vented, vented, window, and vented window.
- Side panels are available in both solid and vented for thermal induction.
- One (1) interchangeable top panel opening, available in solid, vented, fan tops with or without fans installed.
- One (1) interchangeable bottom panel opening, available in solid or gland membrane.
- Vertical cable managers are available in-tray, enclosed metal or fingers versions.
Specifications
- Cabinet frame constructed in 14-gauge steel with 12-gauge steel reinforced corner brackets.
- Cabinet doors and side panels constructed in 16-gauge steel.
- 19″ mounting rails are constructed in 12-gauge steel (square hole punched) or 10-gauge steel (drilled and tapped 10-32).
- Rails include rack unit indicators and are Zinc-plated to provide superior surface areas for equipment grounding.
- C-channel struts provide cabinet strength, ease and flexibility to adjust mounting rails.
- Load rated for up to 1,500 lbs (680 kg).
- Grounding studs are provided on the frame as well as side panels and doors. Front and rear studs on cabinet frame conform to PET.
- Finished in textured black or RAL 7035 light gray powder paint.
- TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases.
- RoHS Compliant.

Construction
- Enclosures are formed 14 gauge steel with 12 gauge steel inner panels. Exceptions are 42″x60″ and 48″x48″ which are formed 12 gauge steel with 10 gauge steel inner panels.
- Smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes.
- Body stiffeners are provided in enclosures 30” high or more for extra rigidity.
- Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting.
- Gasketed overlapping doors eliminate the need for a center post.
- Continuously hinged doors may be removed by pulling the hinge pin.
- Doors are secured with a three point latch and operated with a key locking automotive type handle.
- Latch rods are equipped with rollers for easier door closing.
- Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured.
- A removable 10 gauge inner panel is included in enclosures as noted.
- Smaller sizes include a 12 gauge inner panel.
- Collar studs are provided for mounting inner panels.
- A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud is provided on the door.
- A literature pocket is provided for the inside of the door.
Finish
- Cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating on the inside and outside.
- Removable inner panel is finished in white powder coating.
