The process of polishing fiber optic connector end faces requires both a hard, flat surface and a cushioned pad. Our fiber optic polish plates, pads and mats provide the necessary foundation for your polish film, enabling you to achieve the quality end face finish required of fiber optic connectors.

Placing your fiber optic polishing film over the right type of pad ensures the removal of epoxy and enables you to polish your fiber optic connector without destroying the pre-radius of the ferrule.

The 9″ x 13″ or 6″ x 9″ fiber optic polish plate is available in safety glass. This polish plate is mounted on four rubber feet to provide you with stability and support throughout the fiber optic polishing process. When polishing PC style pre-radius connectors, use the soft polish pad on the glass plate.

In addition to fiber optic polish film, we can provide fiber optic polishing machines and accessories including precision machine polishing discs, pads and lapping films. We also have a complete line of fiber optic cleaners and other consumables required of the polishing process.
