The RB-AV Series is a cost-effective rack cabinet that is ideal for A/V and Security applications. Fully assembled, the RB-AV Series includes removable factory-installed shelves, filler panels, casters, levelling feet and tapped 10-32 mounting rails.
Features
- Available in 18U, 27U, and 42U mounting heights.
- Available in 23.62″ overall width and depth.
- Passive cooling vents are located on the top, bottom and sides.
- Includes provision for up to two (2) optional fans on the top panel.
- Ships fully assembled and ready for installation on-site.
- Doors can be flipped to hinge from the opposite side.

- Constructed in 16-gauge steel.
- Drilled and 10-32 tapped flange 19″ mounting rails are constructed in 13-gauge steel, and are powder coat finished.
- Rails easily adjust in-depth in 1/4″ increments.
- Tested to 950 lbs (431 kg) of equipment load.
- Grounding studs bonded to frame, side panels and doors.
- Finished in smooth black powder paint.
- Meets PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance requirements.
- RoHS Compliant.
Included Components
- Steel frame with factory-installed levelling feet recessed casters and grounding studs. Casters and levelling feet are removable.
- Two (2) pairs of adjustable depth EIA compliant 10-32 tapped mounting rails.
- Starter pack of (50) 10-32 screws included.
- One (1) lightly smoked tempered glass front door with a quarter-turn lock.
- One (1) solid steel rear door with a quarter-turn lock.
- Two (2) solid removable side panels with quarter-turn lock.
- Removable cable access panels on cabinet top and bottom.
- Includes factory-installed vented rack shelves and filler/blank panels (see table below for quantity).

Application
- Designed to house the following safety disconnect equipment:
- ABB Controls flange-mounted variable depth operating mechanism for disconnect switches and circuit breakers. Also cable version for circuit breakers.
- Allen Bradley 1494V variable depth flange mounted disconnect switches and circuit breaker operators. Will not accept Allen Bradley 1494F disconnect switches, 1494D circuit breaker operators.
- C-H Westinghouse C361 flange mounted variable depth operating mechanism with disconnect switches and C371 flange mounted variable depth operating mechanisms for circuit breakers. Also Flex-Shaft™ handle mechanisms for circuit breakers.
- General Electric Type STDA flange handles and variable depth operating mechanism for disconnect switches and circuit breakers. Also SpectraFlex™ cable operators for circuit breakers.
- Siemens I-T-E Max-Flex™ flange mounted variable depth handles for disconnect switches and circuit breakers.
- Square D class 9422 disconnect switches with flange mounted variable depth operating mechanisms or cable mechanisms and Class 9422 flange-mounted variable depth operating mechanisms or cable mechanisms for circuit breakers. Will not accept Square D Class 9422 bracket-mounted disconnect devices, 9422TG1 or TG2 devices

Construction
- Formed 14-gauge steel.
- Continuously welded seams.
- Larger sizes include door and body stiffeners.
- Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting.
- Formed lip on enclosure exclude flowing liquids and contaminants.
- Seamless poured-in place gasket.
- Cutouts and holes are provided to suit the flange handle operating mechanism.
- Continuously hinged doors may be removed by pulling the hinge pin.
- Pad lock defeater handle mechanism is provided along with latching rods and interlock brackets.
- Collar studs are provided for mounting inner panels.
- A removable 12 gauge inner panel is included.
- A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is provided in the enclosure.
- A literature pocket is provided.
Finish
- Cover and enclosure are finished in ANSI61 gray powder coat finish inside and out.
- Inner panel finished in white powder coat finish.

- Disconnects, operating mechanisms are not provided with the enclosure, and must be ordered separately from the manufacturer.
