Complete Battery Impedance Tester and Data Logger (Meets IEEE/NERC Standards)
The SBS-6500 is a multipurpose impedance and voltage tester. Cell and inter-cell and terminal connector readings are taken within seconds using the included pin probes (or optional clamp probes). The SBS-6500 can be programmed with site names, battery details and pass/warning/fail alarm set points for ohmic measurements (pass/fail for voltage) without the high current requirements and float voltage drop necessary for internal resistance testing types. All data is retained in the meter’s internal memory for easy on-site access. With a computer and the included software, the SBS-6500 generates custom graphical reports for historical trending and comparisons.
The SBS-6500 pairs with our SBS-3510 and SBS-2003 digital hydrometers to import specific gravity readings into the SBS-6500. With this data merge, the SBS-6500 will store and generate reports with voltage, ohmic, temperature and gravity readings.

Specific Gravity Tester with Downloading Capabilities for Lead Acid or Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) Batteries
The SBS-3510 uses oscillating U-tube technology to measure specific gravity and temperature of lead acid or nickel cadmium batteries within seconds. The unit is able to take readings between the range of 0.0000 to 3.0000. With the ability to communicate wirelessly to a printer or computer via the integrated Bluetooth interface, testing results can be uploaded into an easy-to-read report.
Unlike other digital hydrometers on the market, the measuring cell can be replaced if damage occurs. This design feature eliminates the need to replace the entire unit should the measuring cell become damaged.
An optional 90 degree bent filling tube provides easier access for measuring specific gravity in battery cells that are located in tight and hard-to-reach areas.
Maintaining the digital hydrometer through proper maintenance is essential to long lasting service life and accuracy. Exponential Power recommends a maintenance interval of at least once a year. Exponential Power is able to meet all digital service needs.

Designed to meet the US Department of Defense (DoD)’s rigorous UFC 3-520-05 requirements, the SBS-H2-DoD Hydrogen Leak Detector is an upgrade of our popular SBS-H2 system, providing improved Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) detection levels. It is currently used by the Army, Navy and NASA.
Traditional hydrogen gas detectors are designed to measure the amount of hydrogen gas in the air and provide warnings when gas levels reach 25 percent and 50 percent of the LEL concentration. The SBS-H2-DoD detects hydrogen at 12.5 percent and 25 percent of the LEL – a significant additional safety margin that is critical for military applications. The hydrogen detector’s lower alert levels equal more time to address the issue creating the hydrogen gas, and more time means increased overall safety.
The SBS-H2-DoD has visual and audible alarms and 0.5% and 1% hydrogen relays. The device features CAT cable connections between the main unit and up to three sensors, leading to easier installs and retrofits into sensitive and classified environments. Each sensor monitors up to 600 square feet of space and can be powered by AC and/or DC power. The SBS-H2-DoD: Hydrogen Gas Detector is a Real-Time Hydrogen Gas Monitoring device.
The system comes complete with the main control, a highly accurate hydrogen gas sensor and a 25 ft. cable. This unit can be powered with AC and/or DC power and can be mounted directly to a wall or to an electrical box, making it extremely versatile and very user-friendly.
The SBS-H2-DoD includes relays for remote connection to alarm/monitoring systems and for control of external relays for an exhaust fan.

The SBS-4815CT is a fully programmable and portable constant current load bank including individual cell monitoring wireless modules with detailed data acquisition, display and reporting capabilities.
Built-in memory continuously records discharge data including: overall system voltage, current and individual cell voltages (when modules are installed).
Parallel Operation
Alone the SBS-4815CT has a 0–150 Amp constant current draw range. However it is possible to parallel additional load banks of the same voltage range with the SBS-4815CT to increase current draw.
With the optional P/N 8400-600A DC clamp the user can discharge up to 750 Amps and the SBS-4815CT will monitor the total DC current being drawn by up to three load banks in parallel.

Hydrometers (density meters) measure the specific gravity of liquids. Specific gravity is the ratio of the density of the liquid being tested to the density of water. In the case of battery testing, the hydrometer is measuring the specific gravity of the battery’s electrolyte. The higher the acid concentration in the electrolyte, the higher the specific gravity.
Based on the specific gravity, the user can determine the state of charge of the battery.
Retaining hydrometer readings and data over time is recommended by IEEE as part of any Battery Maintenance Program

Specific gravity testing is easy and efficient with the SBS-2003. Simply insert the nozzle into the battery and depress the finger pump, which draws a few drops of sulfuric acid (H2SO4) through the tube. Within three seconds the measured refractive index is converted into a temperature compensated specific gravity reading and the specific gravity, temperature and cell count are displayed. After testing is completed, you can transfer the data to your computer via Bluetooth and download results into an Excel report.
Combining a light weight and durable design with easy maintenance, field-replaceable spare parts and a large data storage memory, the SBS-2003 is suitable for use with lead acid batteries.
The SBS-2003 has the added benefit of storing the results for future download via Bluetooth.
⚠️ Important Note for Windows 11 Users:
Microsoft has removed support for the Bluetooth protocol used by the SBS-2003 for data transfer. While the device continues to function for in-field measurements, direct Bluetooth data transfer to Windows 11 PCs is no longer possible.

The La Marche Model A36D Controlled Ferroresonant Rectifier/ Power Supply has many inherent advantages such as voltage regulation, high efficiency, high power factor and short circuit protection. These chargers provide adjustable voltage levels for floating or equalizing lead or nickel-cadmium cells, which can be done digitally through the LCD display. The equalize cycle is activated either manually through a switch on the front panel, or automatically scheduled. (adjustable through the menu). Steady state output voltage remains within ±0.5% of the setting from no load to full load and for AC input voltages within ±10% of the nominal input voltage. The model A36D is internally filtered to be no greater than 32dBrn (“C” message weighting) and 30 millivolts RMS for all conditions on input voltage and output load with or without batteries connected. This allows the A36D to be used as a battery eliminator.

The La Marche Industrial Uninterrupted Power System (IUPS) is designed based on pulse width modulation (SPWM) rectifier and inverter using fully digital DSP+ IGBT technology. This transformer-based double-conversion IUPS is highly robust, well-proven and provides the highest level of flexibility. This transformer-based IUPS incorporates the latest designs and operates at high efficiency while providing galvanic isolation. For Three Phase units, the 12-pulse rectifier section generates very low total harmonic current distortion (THD) under 5% improving input power factor. The low AC ripple currents in DC voltage along with a battery test feature improves battery life and availability. The IUPS is designed with an output transformer, allowing flexibility where bypass voltage and rectifier input voltage can be from a separate source. The built-in Static Switch using power SCRs provide instantaneous transfers. (less than 4ms) to an alternate source if any disturbance occurs at the UPS input. The highly reliable IUPS is the preferred choice in mission-critical applications and high-power data centers compared to transformer-free UPS technology. The La Marche IUPS is equipped with a dynamic real-time Touch-Screen mimic panel displaying power flow, voltages and currents, alarms and status, data logging, and user-friendly password protected configuration capabilities. The IUPS is highly customizable; kVA rating, Input/Output Voltages, Charger Sizing, enclosure protection ratings, distribution, isolation bypass transformer, distribution, and many more.
