Shaxon’s TAA Compliant CAT 6 patch cables with flush molded boots are engineered for high-performance connectivity and manufactured in the USA to meet Trade Agreements Act (TAA) requirements. Designed for commercial and government installations, these cables feature a flexible stranded UTP construction and a durable CM-rated jacket for long-lasting use in dynamic environments.
The flush molded boot design offers a low-profile finish that protects the clip while allowing cables to sit neatly side-by-side in dense patch panels and racks. With reliable signal transmission and support for Power over Ethernet (PoE), these cables are ideal for connecting desktops, VoIP phones, access points, and more.
Key Features:
-
Stranded UTP Construction: Provides enhanced flexibility and ease of routing, especially in patching environments.
-
Flush Molded Boots: Protects the RJ45 clip while maintaining a slim profile for tight or high-density installations.
-
CM Rated Jacket: Meets commercial building code requirements for horizontal cabling applications.
-
Made in the USA / TAA Compliant: Approved for use in government, military, and federally funded projects.
-
PoE Compatible: Supports Power over Ethernet applications for efficient cable and power delivery.
Benefits:
-
Clean and Organized Installations: Low-profile boots fit tightly in patch panels, maximizing space and airflow.
-
Durable and Flexible: Stranded copper conductors provide both long-lasting performance and easy maneuverability.
-
High-Quality Materials: Ensures consistent signal integrity and long-term reliability.
-
Meets Procurement Requirements: Suitable for TAA-restricted applications in secure facilities.
-
Multiple Options Available: Offered in various lengths and colors, with custom configurations available upon request.
CATEGORY 6
Category 6 (Cat 6) cable is a standardized twisted pair cable for Ethernet and other network applications. It is backward compatible with Category 5/5e and Category 3 cables. CAT 6 supports higher performance networking and is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and beyond in structured cabling systems up to 100 meters.
CABLING STANDARDS
Network cabling standards are published internationally by ISO/IEC, CENELEC, and the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). Solid-conductor UTP cables for backbone cabling are specified between 22 AWG and 24 AWG, or 26 AWG for shorter distances, ensuring a balance between performance and physical flexibility.
