The Navigator^® gel free central tube single armored ribbon is the latest fiber cable solution for extreme fiber count OSP, it offers the best of both worlds: high fiber density and ease of use. These cables feature a unique design that combines high fiber density with ease of use. The central tube structure enables rapid mid span access to the ribbon stack for faster termination. To ensure robustness, installer familiarity, and compatibility with existing mass-fusion splicing processes, the cables maintain the conventional 12-fiber ribbon structure. Additionally, the gel free construction eliminates the need for cleaning of messy water blocking gel and drastically reduces cable preparation time.
