Key Features

  • Engineered for superior flow uniformity
  • Inlet barb fits 1/4 in. tubing (A220 and A250)
  • Color coded for easy identification of flow rate: blue – 0.5 GPH; black – 1.0 GPH; red – 2.0 GPH; tan – 5.0 GPH
  • Self-flushing feature minimizes clogging
  • Designed to work with standard drip irrigation water pressures up to 50 PSI

Applications

  • Delivers precise, even watering to each plant; maintains the same discharge rate when the water pressure varies
  • Ideal for landscape and container plants, shrubs, trees, and hanging baskets
  • As part of a complete drip system, the emitter delivers low volume irrigation to the plant’s root zone; the pressure compensating emitter maintains a constant flow rate should the water pressure change

Materials & Sustainability

  • Emitter made of polyethylene and silicone, treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking
  • Made in the USA
  • Drip irrigation can reduce water usage by up to 70% compared to conventional sprinkler irrigation when used properly; for most drip irrigation products, water is applied precisely and at the rate the soil can accept it to prevent runoff and erosion

Installation & Maintenance

  • Insert barbed inlet into end of 1/4 in. distribution tubing (A220 and A250) or 1/4 in. Dura Flo™ JR dripline, raise emitter with stake and position next to plant; or, insert directly into punched hole in supply tubing to water plants along the run
  • Periodically check for damage or leaks and repair as needed; recommended operating pressure for most emitters is up to 50 PSI
