The Multilink Starfighter 4048-D Fiber Optic Dome is an “all parts” inclusive hermetically sealed splice enclosure designed for ease of assembly and re-entry in above and below grade applications. The enclosure is designed with a gasketed split end plate for mid-access cable applications and includes an integrated slack storage basket and interlocking splice trays via a modified keyhole style stacking module. Our dome enclosures require no special tools, adhesives or mastics for installation. All major hardware is factory installed to allow for quick field installation, while universal grommets and compression style lateral or branch cable seals make setup a breeze. The 4048-D is a medium capacity enclosure that can be used in aerial, pedestal, underground, pole and strand applications.
